Our Initiatives

At the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) Foundation, we envision a world free from the burdens of all infectious diseases (ID). We believe, well-trained ID and HIV specialists are the catalyst for reducing the impacts of infectious diseases worldwide. Since its inception, the Foundation has taken major steps to impact the field of infectious diseases including HIV by empowering the next generation of leaders. Our commitment to increasing the number of doctors practicing in the field of infectious diseases and HIV ensures there will be a strong pipeline of highly qualified ID and HIV specialists.
